The Bull City Race Fest is excited to announce the new Delta Air Lines Team Challenge for the 2025 race!
Team up with friends, family, colleagues, mortal enemies or all of the above in either distance to compete for fun prizes and local bragging rights!
All teams will have the opportunity to receive the following:
- Simplified Packet Pick-Up: Save your teammates’ time and pick up everyone’s packets and shirts in one visit! Our team will pre-package everything together and have it ready when you arrive to packet pick-up.
- Custom Bibs: Submit a team logo and custom colors to be included on your race bib! To be eligible for custom bibs, teams will need:
- 10 or more registered participants by Friday, September 12, 2025.
- The team captain will need to complete the custom bib form (form will be available closer to race day) by Friday, September 12, 2025.
- Team Tents at the Post-Race Party: Receive a free dedicated tent space at the post-race party. To be eligible for a free tent, teams will need 25 or more registered participants by Friday, October 3, 2025.
- Team Prizes: The top performing teams will receive fun prize packages (to be announced soon) as well as local bragging rights! Click here for full details on our scoring system.

Team Program FAQs
How do I create a team?
You’ll need to fill out our “Team Creation Form.” Signing up for a team does not register the captain for the race – you’ll need to register as well! You’ll need to do that separately by registering through the registration form. Click here for more details on team creation.
How do I add others to my team?
Once your team is created, you’ll receive an email with instructions for team members to join. They will have a unique passcode to join your team and can register through the regular registration form.
Does everyone on the team need to run the same distance?
No! Runners from both distances can sign up for the same team, receive the same benefits and contribute to the team awards.
How does the scoring system work?
Our scoring system is designed so that everyone participant will contribute to the total team score just by showing up! If they place in the top three of their age group, they’ll add bonus points to the team total. For full details, see our Scoring System webpage.
When is the deadline to create a team?
- Teams can be created at any point leading up to race day. However, there are deadlines for specific benefits:
- To be eligible for custom bibs:
- Teams will need 10 or more registered participants by Friday, September 19, 2025.
- The team captain will need to complete the custom bib form by Friday, September 19, 2025.
- To be eligible for a free tent, teams will need 25 or more registered participants by Friday, October 3, 2025.
